SWE Annual Conference
Every year there is a SWE conference: Annual Conference. These events allow various SWE sections to come together and be exposed to opportunities that benefit both the SWE section itself and its members as individuals. Next year, Annual Conference will be in New Orleans, LA from November 2-7, 2020.
There are many different seminars to attend: presenters will share information about developing a section as well as ways to develop as a professional in STEM fields. There is also a career fair with numerous companies looking to hire female engineers for co-op and full time positions.
Conference is also a great networking opportunity: not only will you meet professionals and hiring companies, you will also get to know your fellow RIT SWE section members better!

Who can go?
To attend National Conference, you are required to become a national member (go to swe.org and sign up and pay your dues!) in addition to being part of a SWE section. Contact our section for more information about attending National Conference.
Where and when?
WE20 will be held in Anaheim, CA from November 5th-7th 2020.
How much does it cost?
The cost of conference depends on the location and the amount of fundraising raised by our section. The more social, community service, professional events you participate in, the more "points" you earn that may count towards being sponsored for conference. Members will receive an email with their tier level and equivalent sponsorship.

Welcome!
